Kindpair Privacy Policy

This policy explains how KindPair collects, uses, and protects information when you use Kindpair, our web-based AI companion service.

Information We Collect

We collect only what is needed to operate and secure the service.

Account details such as email, display name, and authentication identifiers.
Messages, prompts, transcripts, and attachments you choose to submit.
Interaction metadata such as timestamps, feature usage, and coarse location derived from IP.
Technical diagnostics such as device/browser details and crash logs.

How We Use Data

Data is used to provide, secure, and improve Kindpair. It is not sold.

To power chat, voice, avatar rendering, and interactive features.
To authenticate users, prevent abuse, investigate incidents, and provide support.
Inputs and outputs may be automatically reviewed and filtered for policy and legal compliance.
Image uploads are screened for NSFW classes before vision-model processing; blocked attempts may be retained in moderation logs.

Sharing and Transfers

We share data only with providers required to operate Kindpair or when legally required.

Infrastructure, storage, analytics, and AI inference providers acting under contract.
Providers are required to apply appropriate security controls and use limits.
Data may be processed in the United States and other provider regions.
We do not sell or license personal information to marketers.

Your Choices and Controls

You can request access, correction, or deletion of account data by contacting us.

Limit sensitive sharing in chats and uploads.
Disable microphone/camera access in device settings at any time.
Manage cookies and local storage in browser settings.
Use unsubscribe links for non-essential communications.

Retention and Security

We keep data only as long as needed for service operation, safety, and compliance.

Operational records are retained for the life of your account unless shorter periods apply.
Backups and legal holds may persist for limited periods.
Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest using industry-standard controls.
Access is restricted with need-to-know controls and audit logging.

AI and Moderation Notes

Kindpair uses third-party AI providers to generate outputs.

Relevant prompt/context data may be sent to model providers to respond to requests.
Provider systems may apply automated safety and moderation checks.
Where available, no-training/no-retention controls are configured.
When strict controls are unavailable, shared data is minimized and contract protections are applied.

Age Restriction and Policy Updates

Kindpair is intended for users 18 and older. We may update this policy for product, legal, or operational changes. Material updates will be posted with a revised effective date.
